Join Us on Facebook to Explore Exciting CCDF Changes

We’re hosting our first statewide Facebook Live session! Join us September 18 to find out how Indiana’s early childhood system is becoming more family-friendly.

On October 1, 2018, Indiana will make a number of changes to the CCDF program. These updates are the result of new federal requirements. Many changes aim to make the program more family-friendly.

Keeping families informed about these changes is a core priority for Indiana’s statewide child care quality system. FSSA’s Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning has been sending letters to all families receiving CCDF support. Here at Brighter Futures Indiana, we’ve posted updates within our own CCDF Families Guide. But to make sure we reach as many families as possible, we’re turning to Facebook to make sure families have a clear understanding of these changes.

Join us September 18 at 12:30 p.m., on the Brighter Futures Indiana Facebook account. Viewers will get to hear from FSSA’s Office of Early Learning and Out-of-School Learning about all the changes. In addition to some initial questions, families will also have the chance to ask their own questions during the Facebook Live session. RSVP today on Facebook if you plan to attend!

After the event, we will also share a video of the session on this post.

This event will also be available as a webinar for a limited number of viewers. Reach out to Kirsten Eamon-Shine via email for webinar access information.
