What did you do before joining the Brighter Futures Solution Center?
I worked in the Energy Assistance Program at United Way of Central Indiana.
What are some of your favorite things about your role?
I get to speak with clients in Spanish and support them in finding the needed resources.
What was the last moment that caused you to stop and remember why you love your work?
I really enjoy speaking with clients who are going to start a child care business. I was really inspired this week by a woman who is working to start her own home child care, and she was so excited. It made me glad to support her in her work.
How do you spend your free time?
I really enjoy hiking and biking with friends & family.
What was the best advice you ever received?
Don't take it personally!
What other interesting facts do you want us to know about you?
I am trained as a beekeeper.
