I have a bachelor's degree.
How long have you been a member of the Brighter Futures Solution Center?
I’ve worked for Early Learning Indiana and the Brighter Future Solution Center for more than one year.
What did you do before joining the Brighter Futures Solution Center?
Prior to this role, I owned and operated an in-home Paths to QUALITY™ Level 4 licensed childcare for 30 years and a registered ministry for two years.
How many years of experience do you have in early childhood education or social work?
I have more than 33 years in childcare-related services.
What are some of your favorite things about your role?
I enjoy helping providers and families solve their problems.
What was the last moment that caused you to stop and remember why you love your work?
I was recently on a call with a provider and she was so grateful to have help understanding how to manage her educator consent forms.
How do you spend your free time?
I love to roller skate with my grandchildren. Spending time with them brings me such joy!
What was the best advice you ever received?
The best way to learn something is to dive in and do it.
What other interesting facts do you want us to know about you?
I like to stay active - rollerskating, Urban Adventure Races in South Bend and learning to ride a 250 are just a few of the things I enjoy doing.
