The Build, Learn, Grow: Building Wellness program is a confidential employee assistance program offering free short-term counseling, legal and financial consultation, work-life assistance and crisis intervention services to early care and out-of-school time providers, their employees, volunteers and the household family members or dependents of all eligible individuals. The program is strictly confidential. Information about an individual’s participation in the program will not be shared with the person’s employer or with the state of Indiana.

The Building Wellness program is open to individuals who own, work or volunteer in an Indiana-based early childhood education or out-of-school care program, as well as the household family members and dependents of those individuals.
The program offers free, short-term counseling, legal and financial consultation, work-life assistance and crisis intervention services.

Highly trained clinicians to listen and help individuals and their family members with issues including anxiety, depression, stress, grief, life adjustments and marital/relationship conflicts.

Specialists to provide qualified referrals and resources for diverse work-life needs including finding child and elder care, hiring movers or home repair contractors, planning events, locating pet care and more.

Attorneys to share practical assistance with pressing legal issues including divorce, adoption, family law, wills, trusts and more. Individuals also qualify for a 25% reduction in fees when legal representation is needed.

Financial experts to assist with matters including retirement planning, taxes, relocation, mortgages, insurance, budgeting, debt, bankruptcy and more.

24/7 access to an online portal of information, tools and support including podcasts, articles, videos, slideshows, on-demand trainings and “Ask the Expert” features.

Accessing
ServicesServices are available 24/7 via phone, online or the GuidanceNowSM app. When you call, you will speak with a GuidanceConsultantSM, a master’s or PhD-level counselor who will collect some general information about you and will talk with you about your needs. The GuidanceConsultantSM will provide the name of a counselor who can assist you. You can then set up an appointment to speak with the counselor over the phone or schedule a face-to-face visit.

No. The Build, Learn, Grow Building Wellness program is strictly confidential. No information about your participation, nor your family’s, will be shared with your employer, the state of Indiana or any other party.

This program is open to individuals who own or are W2 workers actively employed by a regulated, Indiana-based early childhood education or out-of-school care program, as well as the household family members and dependents of someone who is employed by such a program.

You can access program services 24/7 in several ways including via phone, online or the GuidanceNowSM app. Information about how to do this is provided above.

You are eligible to access services on an ongoing basis at any time during the program’s duration.

If you leave your position for any reason, you may finish any short-term services you are receiving, but you will not be able to access any new services.

If it is determined that you need longer-term treatment or services, you will be referred to a specialist and your insurance coverage will be activated. If you do not have insurance coverage, you will be connected to services to help find coverage.
