What Is On My Way Pre-K?

On My Way Pre-K is the state of Indiana’s prekindergarten program created in 2014. On My Way Pre-K helps low-income families access high-quality pre-K programs for their children the year before kindergarten. This program awards vouchers to children who will be 4-year-olds by August 1st of the pre-K year. Families who receive an On My Way Pre-K voucher may choose any approved On My Way Pre-K program for their child to attend.
Applications for On My Way Pre-K are available each spring prior to the fall start of prekindergarten programs. Read below to learn if your child may be eligible for this voucher. To apply for On My Way Pre-K, families complete the Early Ed Connect application online.

Can I get an On My Way Pre-K voucher?
To be eligible, you must live in Indiana and your family must meet income eligibility requirements. Parents or guardians in the household must be working, going to school, or attending job training.
A limited number of vouchers may also be available if a parent or guardian receives Social Security Disability Insurance or Supplemental Security Income (also known as SSDI or SSI) benefits and is not working, going to school, or attending job training. The new, easy-to-complete Early Ed Connect online application asks you all the right questions to see if you qualify.
