Claim and Application Status

Thank you for your patience as we’ve experienced technical issues related to the submission of our Build, Learn, Grow scholarship claims. Providers can now submit claims for September for families that are currently in care or new to their program.

All new scholarship claims for children who attend care in September must be submitted by 6 p.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 1. For September, claims can be backdated to Sept. 6 for children who were enrolled by Sept. 6.

Claims Under Review
The recent technical issues have caused a delay in our review process. Due to these technical issues, it is taking longer than usual to complete reviews. We assure you we are working as quickly as possible to review and release funds. If there is an issue with a submitted claim, we will reach out to you.

To view your Build, Learn, Grow claim status, you will need to log into your Submittable account and click on the "All Submissions" tab. A list of all submitted claims will appear under "All Submissions". The status of the submission will appear to the left of the 4-digit claim number. See illustration below.


Here is a list of the claim statuses, and their definitions:

Received: Claim was successfully submitted

In-Progress: Claim processor is currently working on the claim

Edit: Claim is missing information and/or needs to be corrected before it can be processed (provider will need to open a claim and make necessary corrections/additions and resubmit the claim

Approved: Claim has been processed and approved for payment

Complete: Funds has been wired and deposited into the program's bank account provided
