Building for the Future: Assessing Indiana’s Early Childhood Education Supply & Demand
Early childhood education plays a vital role in Indiana's recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. The state’s new Build, Learn, Grow program helps build reliable child care infrastructure, creates new learning opportunities for young students and helps our communities grow.
As part of the Build, Learn, Grow program, the Indiana Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning has launched the Program Enrollment Dashboard to help provide insight into early childhood education supply and demand gaps across our state. These insights inform ongoing and future relief and recovery efforts to restore enrollment to pre-pandemic levels and rebuild Indiana’s early childhood education workforce.

All CCDF-eligible child care programs self-reported their enrollment data regularly between spring of 2021 and spring of 2022. We invite community leaders and stakeholders to use the data to support their own local community planning and child care relief and recovery efforts.
For specific questions about the Program Enrollment Dashboard, please email OECOSLproviderinquiry@fssa.IN.gov.
Please Note: When any data element includes less than five programs, records are suppressed from the dashboard to preserve privacy and security.
